10-Day Safari: Bwindi, Maasai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara

This Gorillas & Wildesbeest Migration Safari where you encounter great annual wildebeest migration in both Serengeti National Park and Masai Mara National Reserve (this occurs in the month of May to September). The big five animals will be enjoyed while on this safari while on the game drives in the savannahs.

Gorilla trekking will also be in Bwindi National Park which offers the best of experience of spending an hour with the gentle giants. On this tour, have beautiful sceneries as you visit Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda. The safari will therefore include gorillas and Wildlife starting from Tanzania through Kenya to Uganda.

Detailed Itinerary

Day1. Arusha to Lake Manyara NP

Begin your safari from Arusha where you be picked up by the assigned driver guide of our company. Meet and greet followed by briefing on how this beautiful tour will be conducted and this will create the real picture of the safari. Transfer to Lake Manyara national park a home to the rare tree climbing lions hence the park is related to Queen Elizabeth national park of Uganda.

If you arrive early which will depend on the pickup point, go for an evening game drive where you encounter animals such as elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalos, zebras, gazelles, baboons, hyenas and many more.

Day2. Head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

The game drive to meet the missed attractions will follow after breakfast and later on transfer to the Ngorongoro conservation area. This conservation has unique scenery of the crater lakes, and savannahs occupied by wildlife inform of animals and birds. The big five animals (lion, leopards, rhino, elephants & buffalo) will be seen in the plains. On arriving, take a game drive to watch more wildlife including the big cats, birds like lesser flamingos, black-winged lapwing, black kite, European bee-eater and many more others. Leave and head to the booked lodge for dinner

Day3. Drive to Serengeti NP

Morning breakfast will be served and a short game drive will follow to spot more wildlife and the beautiful scenic of the sunrise. Transfer to Serengeti national park, the famous protected area for wildlife viewing in the whole world. Additionally, this area hosts one of the world’s wonders which is the wildebeest migration. Arrive and rest to prepare for a full-day game drive the next day.

Day4. Full day game drive

Take part in this whole day game drive as you encounter different wildlife species. This needs you to have packed lunch box which you will enjoy as picnic. All you need is a pair of Binoculars and cameras to capture wonderful memories. While on the game drive, expect to meet the rhinos, elephants, cheetahs, crocodile, lions, bush bucks, warthog, baboons, zebras, giraffes, buffalos and more other including the birds.

Day5. Transfer to Masai Mara in Kenya

This will be a day of transferring from Tanzania to Kenya as you will find your way to Masai Mara and this will be another chance of witnessing the annual wildebeest migration. This reserve is almost similar with Serengeti national park since they home almost the same wildlife. Arrive in the evening and head to the lodge.

Day6. Full Day Mara Adventure Safari

Like in Serengeti national park, enjoy another full day in Masai Mara to encounter the True African nature and Wildlife inform of endless sceneries, the Mara river with its crocodiles feeding on wildebeest and more others.

Animals that will not be missed are Giraffes, Buffaloes, Zebra, Wildebeest, Thomson’s and Grant’s Gazelle, Eland, Topi, Impalas, Baboons, elephants, Warthogs and more other. Also, picnic lunch and sunrise will be one of the moments which will be enjoyed on this day.

Day7. Fly to Uganda

A morning game drive will commence the day which will be followed by a transfer to Nairobi at the airport to catch up with a scheduled flight to Entebbe International Airport. Meet and greet another safari guide expert from Uganda and he will take you to the booked accommodation in either Entebbe or Kampala.

Day8. Transfer to Bwindi National Park

Wake up on delicious breakfast which will be followed by a long drive to Bwindi National Park that will last for about 8 or 9 hours. Bwindi Forest National Park is home to the rare mountain gorillas and homes almost half of the remaining gorillas. Apart from the gorillas, there are other wildlife and beautiful scenery one can enjoy such as the birds, the Batwa community experience and more. On the way, you will encounter the equator point where the experiment will be done, photos and many more others.

Day9. Gorilla Trekking Adventure

Wake up in the morning and head to the park headquarters for a briefing about the amazing gorilla trekking adventure. This covers a lot of things including the rules and regulations, equipment, hiring potters and more others. Begin the trek, with the help of the park ranger and this will create everlasting stories as you meet other attractions like birds, primates and plant species.

Meeting a gorilla family trekking rewards you with a great opportunity to spend an hour in their presence. Learn about their behaviors, movements and so forth as you capture great moments. Witness that they are related to humans in terms of using tools, breastfeeding young ones and many more others. Have a leisurely evening and this will be the end of the day.

Day10. Head back to Entebbe and fly home

Wake up early for a long journey back to Entebbe airport and this will be another time of adventure. Different stopovers will be well designed including one at the point where the equator crosses Uganda and here, have lunch as you proceed to be dropped to either Kampala or Entebbe to mark the end of the safari.
