Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pickup and Nairobi city tour

Today, our driver guide will pick you up at the Airport for the start of your 8 days safari in Kenya. This 8 days is blended with lots of surprises, local experience, good sleep and food. After finishing with the immigration clearance, meet your driver guide who will brief you about Kenya and what to look out for during your stay.

You will have a glass of juice, and then hit the road to your hotel for check-in and rest. Lunch will be served, and then the evening is for exploring the historical, and cultural attractions around Nairobi city. End the day with dinner and a sweet slumber at the hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Masai Mara

After breakfast, the Journey to Masai Mara national park starts. The road trip is on a relatively busy route with busy towns, and countrymen carrying on with trade. Have a stopover at the Great Rift Valley for site seeing and photography, before proceeding for lunch in Narok town. From Narok to the park is about a 2 hour drive, through a largely maram road yet offering stunning views of the landscape, homesteads and the lush vegetation. You will arrive at the lodge and check-in for dinner and a night stay.

Day 3: Full day game drive

With packed breakfast and lunch meal, set-out for a full day game drive very early in the morning. The hope is by the sunset, come close to the different land-animals in your wish-list such as the bat-eared fox, bush baby, bushbuck, coke’s heartbeats, common eland, copper tailed Monkey, crested porcupine, rhinos, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, lions, impalas, Thomson gazelles, Topis, giraffes, reedbucks, wildebeest and more. Take note of the different plant species, stunning landscape, plantations and more.

Enjoy bush breakfast in the middle of wilderness, picnic lunch and return to the lodge at sunset after exploring the Mara River invested with school of hippos and crocodiles. To see the cats and nocturnal animals like hyenas, owls, vultures, wild dogs, cheetahs and more are left to luck. End the day at your lodge with dinner and lip-smacking dinner.

Day 4: Birding expedition and Masai cultural tours

Today; the first activity is bird watching, and commences at exactly 07:00 hrs. The expert bird guide will lead the way to the swamps and other birding sites where for approximately 4 hours, you will get lost to the bird world. Identify the different species, by appearance, sound and habitat. Birds are special, as you will be able to notice during the search. There are those that are endemic to the place, and the immigrants from other countries and places.

Among the bird species to lookout for include; the ostrich, secretary birds, Grebes, pelicans, Herons, hammerkop, falcons, shoebill storks, Ibis, ducks and geese. They dwell in the grassland areas and by the waterlogged areas. The guide makes sure the day ends after you have noted as many as you wish, and taken the best photographic shots.

After bird watching, you will return to lodge for Lunch, followed by an evening at the Masai community with the Masai warriors. As you spend time with the warriors, you will discover a new culture, food, and dress cord. Join in the Jump dance, tour the Manyattas, kraal and some other areas. At sunset, buy some souvenirs and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Fly to Diani Beach

Wakeup for a mouthwatering breakfast at the lodge. Thereafter, you will fly to Diani beach for relaxation. Diani is home to endless white sand beaches situated along the calm Indian ocean, and ranks among the best beaches in East Africa.

Enjoy beautiful views of Kenya’s landscape, busy towns, and more. You will have lunch on arrival, check-in, refresh and have dinner.

Day 6: Beach relaxation

Greet your stomach with the first meal of the day. After, you will spend the rest of the day soaked on the white sand beach at Diani. Give yourself to the water, meditation, sea food, and photography at the beach.

There is no better way of having an unforgettable treat as this time. Other optional activities to engage in during the day include; snorkeling, swimming, a visit to the colobus conservation, scuba diving, snorkeling and more. Lunch, dinner and lots of drinks will be the theme at the beach, before you return to the lodge for dinner and night stay.

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, you will check-out of the lodge for your flight to a different destination or back home. Have your last meal of the safari with our company representative, as we call it a great experience shared.
