Detailed itinerary

Day1. Nairobi to Masai Mara NR

Arrive and be picked up by the driver guide of our company. He will take you through a briefing about this amazing safari to the wilderness and beaches in Zanzibar. Immediately, transfer to Masai Mara national reserve a home to many animals including the African big five animals that is lion, leopards, rhino, buffalo and an elephants and other bird species. The endless scenery with savannah trees is so amazing.

Day2-3. Game drives in Mara

Have a wonderful and memorable time as you take part in 2 days game drive in Mara plains searching for the great moments and Wildlife such as the lions, wildebeest, elephants, impala, baboons, warthogs, kudu, giraffes, zebras, bush bucks, leopards, cheetahs and many more others. You can opt to take a hot air ballooning Safari that offers an aerial view of the savanna hence aerial photography.

Day4. Drive to Nairobi and fly to Zanzibar

Leave for Nairobi in the morning after breakfast and then fly to Zanzibar. This is an archipelago of different islands such as Pemba, Mafia and many others but it’s part of Tanzania. Meet and greed the tour safari guide that will take you to the booked resort beach.

Day5. Stone town and spice tour

Immediately after breakfast, meet a local guide who will take you for stone town tour where you get to learn about the history, culture and traditions in this old stone, through visiting local churches, mosques, local markets like the former slave market, museum, and more others. Stone town gets its name from the architectural designs used you build different houses during the early time of the settlers.

In the evening, take a spice tour where you visit different gardens for spices such as cloves nutmeg, cinnamon, turmeric, vanilla, cardamom, chili, black pepper and more. Visit one of the restaurants to taste tea or food where some of the spices are used. While on this tour, you can touch, smell or even chew some of them.

Day6-7. Beach activities

Spend this two day exploring the beautiful blue beaches as you take part in different activities like swimming, snorkeling, sunset dhow cruise, visiting the tortoise island/former prison island, the rock restaurant won’t be missed and more others

D ay8. Fly back home

Have a leisure last breakfast on sunrise then a drive to Zanzibar airport to catch up with your flight back home and this marks the end of the safari.
